Two dark, 1-bedroom apartments were converted into a large open two bedroom space. The view - a unique vista looking straight down Madison Avenue from 23rd street - was emphasized by the alignment of the entrance to the main sitting room along the axis of Madison Avenue and by the replacement of the original smaller windows.
